A soft, melt-in-the-mouth dosa made with rice, egg, and coconut milk, delicately cooked in ghee for a rich, silky finish.
There’s something so comforting about a dosa that’s soft, thin, and simply melts in your mouth—and that’s exactly what this Silk Dosa is all about. Made with a simple batter of rice, egg, and coconut milk, this dosa is incredibly light and delicate in texture, with a subtle richness that comes from the coconut milk. Each dosa is cooked with a generous touch of ghee, which not only enhances the flavor but also fills the kitchen with a beautiful aroma that’s hard to resist. It’s a quick and easy recipe, yet it feels so special and indulgent—just like its name, soft and silky.
This dosa pairs beautifully with a variety of sides. A mildly spiced chicken curry or a creamy korma works like magic with it, soaking into the dosa and creating the perfect bite. For a simpler version, you can enjoy it with sweetened coconut milk or just a drizzle of ghee and a sprinkle of sugar—the kind of nostalgic combo that instantly takes you back to childhood.
