About me

Helloo everyone!

Welcome! I am soo glad that you found my blog.

May peace and blessings be upon you all. I am Sadia Mohamed, born and brought up in Dubai and a post graduate in Medical Biotechnology but currently a blessed housewife living in Kuwait. Cooking has always been my area of interest, I have always loved trying out new stuff since school times. I love food of all sorts, from the most savory dinners to sinfully decadent desserts. Incredibly passionate about anything having to do with food.

I started this blog for expressing the things I enjoy most in life: food, cooking and photography. I wanted a place where i could share my cooking experiences with family and friends. Moreover, I want to make many new friends from the culinary blogging world, learn new things and improve my cooking skills.

I have never had any formal training in the field of cooking and photography. I try my best to create my own dishes, but most are inspired by other great chefs which include my Mom, my Sister and my besty Nimeena. All the pictures are taken by me, i am just a beginner seeking to learn more.

All the technical support is completely given to me by my best friend/husband, Fadal. I wouldn’t have been able to do this without his help. The theme was adapted from Pankogut.com

So, that’s me in a nut-shell. Hope you guys will enjoy reading my blog and trying out new recipes. Thank you for taking the time to check out my little space here and I hope you’ll come back again!

I love it when anyone comes to me with questions about cooking and I love it even more to read your valuable comments about my posts. So please feel free to post comments or contact me on info@savoryandsweetfood.com.

Cheers!😊

Actually, the first time I considered writing a blog came from all the stupid things some brainless people were doing in the lab but it never came into being :O
I’m looking to update weekly for now. If I had known what a hassle it was to do the multilingual thing via separate blogs I think I would’ve gone down a different route. Ignorance is bliss…

  16. What a wonderful blog you have here. Love the pictures! Thanks so much for visiting me and therefore leading me here to this space! Looking forward to read more! 🙂
