Chicken fajita Wraps

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp Oil
  • 300 Grams Chicken Cut into small strips
  • 1 Tsp Red chilli powder
  • ¼ Tsp Turmeric powder
  • ½ Tsp Cumin powder
  • 1 Tsp Paprika powder Plus more if needed
  • 1 Tsp Garlic powder
  • Black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 Large Onion Sliced
  • ½ of large red capsicum
  • ½ of Large Green capsicum
  • 1 Tbsp Soya Sauce
  • 1 Tbsp Sriracha chilli sauce
  • 2 Tbsp Tomato ketchup
  • Tortilla wrap
  • Chilli mayo
  • Butter

Instructions

Cook the chicken:

  • Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
  • Add the chicken strips to the pan and cook for about a minute until the chicken turns white

Add Spices:

  • Add all spices from red chilli powder to black pepper in the ingredients list and cook for a minute. Add salt.

Add vegetables:

  • Add the sliced onions, red bell pepper, and green bell pepper to the pan. Stir well to combine.
    Add the soy sauce and cook on high flame until the water evaporates and the vegetables are cooked but still slightly crunchy.

Add sauces:

  • Add chili sauce for an extra kick and mix well.
    Add tomato ketchup and cook on high flame until the chicken gets a bit of a char and everything is dry, ensuring all flavors meld together.

Assemble the wraps:

  • Take a mini tortilla and place a portion of the filling in the center.
    Add a drizzle of chili mayo on top of the filling.
    Optionally, sprinkle some shredded mozzarella cheese over the filling.
    Fold the tortilla into a wrap.
    Heat a little butter in a pan over medium heat.
    Grill and toast the tortilla wrap in the butter until it is golden brown and crispy on all sides.
    Your chicken fajita wraps are ready to enjoy! Serve them hot.
