Molten Chocolate Microwave Mug Cake
A mugful of divine chocolate goodness in the microwave in just 1 minute and 20 seconds.

INGREDIENTS
- 3 tbsp all purpose flour
- 3 tbsp powdered sugar
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder
- ¼ Tsp baking soda
- 2 tbsp oil/butter
- 1/4 tsp vanilla essence
- 4 tbsp buttermilk
- A bar of plain milk chocolate
DIRECTIONS
Take your mug and add in all the dry ingredients. Whisk well.
Add the oil, essence, and milk. Mix well.
Place the chocolate pieces throughout the batter covering all sides. Push the chocolate in and cover top with batter.
Microwave on high for 1 minute and 20 seconds.
Serve and enjoyy.
NOTES:
- The cooking time may vary in different ovens. Mine took 1 minute and 20 seconds, but I recommend that you check after 1 minute and if it done that’s it. Or else give 20-30 seconds more cooking time.
- I added 1 full bar of the chocolate into the batter because I love the melted chocolate in my cake a lot. But you just add in a small piece of chocolate too, as you like.
