Silk Dosa

A soft, melt-in-the-mouth dosa made with rice, egg, and coconut milk, delicately cooked in ghee for a rich, silky finish.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup jeerakashala rice/ basmati rice
  • cups coconut milk
  • cups water
  • 1 egg
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  • Soak rice in water for an hour. Drain.
  • Add all ingredients to a blender and blend or grind until very smooth and silky.
  • Take a pan/tawa add let it become very hot. Once the pan is very hot, pour a ladle full of batter and swirl the pan.
  • Pour ghee all over and fold the dosa and take it out.
  • Serve with curry, coconut milk oe ghee and sugar.
